A driver would like to know if a company can use the e-logs to find out if he went over 3-5 miles on his speed or are there undercover dot out there and get trucknumbers and report to the company?I think they get the info from the e-log computer,,,,,,,who is right???He got a letter with dates, but no places where he has gone over speed,,,,,,,,,never more then 5 miles tho,,,the company just started doing this so he wondering. My Hubby uses paperlogs, so we don't know much about e-log computer. Our friend's company letter, did not tell him anything other then the dates when he went over.So what can he do,or should do(besides watch his speed, which he thought he was),,,,,any advise or idea???

    THANKS:biggrin_25514:and stay safe

His qcom reported him (or whatever his elogger is). The info can also be pulled from the trucks ECM during pm service along with hard brakes, excessive rpm's, excessive idling. .........

I remember Stevens used a company to track and follow drivers, noting speed, following distance, etc. Called Markel or something like that.

So does Landstarve but just an OS letter most likely came from onboard. A following report would have been about more behavior than that.
