Does anyone know of a company that DOESN'T govern their trucks? Everywhere I look, trucks are set at 65 mph or lower.

My employer has them between 72 and 75.
my previuos employer was 68 on the pedal, and 70 on the cruise.

    duck65 Thanks this.
  4. Shop around to companies with under 20 trucks.

Can you drive a stick? Do you have " auto only on your license?

    It's from a rant earlier.....

My drivers truck is 75 mine is wide open
Crazy how when you pay for fuel out of pocket and realize that 75+ gets you no where faster.
I never through I’d be the one to say that 65-70 is perfect. Keep that Driver door closed turn the music up set the cruise.

nax, road_runner, Bean Jr. and 4 others Thank this.

  6. Sound words..... Eve with wide open truck I Cruse at 68- 72mph.

It does help to be able to climb a hill and pass a slow truck with an open ride.

    duck65 Thanks this.

I’ve never worked for a company that was under 67. Always had trucks that went at least 70. Current company is 67, but I have an older International that goes 71

Never drove a truck slower then 70.If you guys would grow a backbone the companies would have to raise the limit or go out of business.
