Lab work, passingthru69, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
Never had an actual go out, personally. My back, occasionally a knee, but never my actual. Sounds pretty painful from this vantage point.
Or is this the actual in your truck?hagarcobra Thanks this. -
I think he said:
He worked for them on a Monday and the axel went out on the truck he had and they didn't have a spare truck to put him in so. ..
He found another job
.... We can't blame him for not wanting to pee around with them -
Ok, my rant for the day- posts that you have to read 3 times and then have to "read between the lines" to even get a hint of a clue of what the OP was trying to communicate to everyone. Is it auto-correct and not proof reading? Is it the current level of education in the industry? Like the old saying- "if I wanted to spend all my time reading between the lines, I'd have a conversation with my wife". HA! Rant over..........
crazeydude, bigguns and JimmyWells Thank this. -
Don't know anything about green tree butA lot of companies don't keep spare trucks sitting around not sure that makes them a bad company. If there was a lot of break downs I understand going elsewhere. You only worked one day.dont know what or if your complaining about pay didn't they tell you what the pay was before you started.
-
I don't think pay was an issue but NO pay and sitting at home is a big issue for most drivers
....THEIR problems will be YOUR problems ONLY if you LET it happen -
Seems to me you and the op is going a little overboard guess where he went to and where your at your saying the truck doesn't breakdown and you've never lost time in a shop.It looks like his truck was down maybe 4 or 5 days the carrier could have been told the truck would be ready in 2 days and the shop ran into a problem.Like I said he worked 1 day really almost impossible to have a grip on how a company is. You start quitting every time things don't go right you'll have 6 or 8 jobs in a year or 2 makes it a lot harder to land that good oneLast edited: Jul 21, 2017

But I wasn't blaming the guy for quitting if that's what he decided just not sure a company is bad because they don't have spare trucks sitting around
