    On what planet?

Shifting gears is less than 1% of this job. A FULL CDL will have every endorsement. You getting that too?

The price of the school, is the price. Find another school, and pay their price. Simple enough.

The limitations you have placed, are those you have placed on YOURSELF!!!

You’re the one that needs training. And only you can decide where to train. Find another school! There are thousands.

You can’t dictate the price. You’re a nobody, you don’t own the school.

I’m planning on getting every endorsement except passenger, if you can’t drive a truck because of its transmission, you don’t have a full CDL

all I want is a full CDL, so I can drive a semi truck, no matter what, I already know how to shift a semi

Would you hire a doctor with a restricted medical license? Would you hire a lawyer with a restricted license to practice law?

Why would a local company hire me with a restricted CDL?

One company I used to work for, won’t hire you with an auto restriction on your license, even though all 3 trucks they had were automatic

You and 100’s of thousands do it every day lolol Including me.

This is only an issue in your mind. One that you can’t figure out how to get around. How will you EVER drive a truck if you can’t figure out how to get in one?

You think the industry is going to bow to ONE person that demands standard training? lolol They eat people like you for lunch every day, and twice on Sundays

    We’re done here I think.

Well, many of us have offered advice. Most of which you disagree with or are providing an excuse to why you Can't do it.

If you truly want something you have to work hard for it. Only working 50hours a week currently leaves plenty of time for another job to save money. You'll be working 70+ if and when you get in a truck.

I guess having no cdl is better than having one with an auto restriction in your mind. Good luck

How is getting half a cdl “working hard”? It’s taking an easy way out, and slamming a lot of doors shut on the way, manual trucks are in no way obsolete, and never will be

The only “advice” I’ve been offered was get an auto restriction, and stay with a mega because you won’t work anywhere else driving, that’s advice, that’s bad advice

And I work 50 hours a week, but my schedule is all over the place, so no time for a second job(example: 3-11 one day, 7-7 next day, 3pm-3am one day etc)

You don't know what you are talking about with your "Full Cdl" BS. Over and over again. I hope you get your CDL and talk this nonsense at a truckstop and tell a driver he does not have a real "Full" CDL. You will get your butt kicked. Then you will have a FOOL CDL.

Great more excuses. Better stick with the crummy job you have now that you can only scrape by on, than trying to better yourself. Good day sir

No it doesn't. You are arguing with veterans on the largest truck driving forum in the world.. Telling you over and over again the restriction does not really limit options.. Keep trollin and your FOOL CDL. In my opinion.. You are too hard headed to drive a prius.

Can you drive any semi truck with an auto restriction? No. Can you drive any semi with an air brake restriction? No. Can you drive any semi with a fifth wheel restriction? No.

I’m not saying these are not “real” CDLs, however, they are NOT full CDLs, because you can not drive any semi with a restricted CDL. I’m not looking down on anyone with a restricted CDL, if it works for you, good for you. It doesn’t work for me(because again, the company I would like to go back working for DOES NOT HIRE YOU WITH AN AUTO RESTRICTION)

I’m not making excuses. I. Do. Not. Want. To. Limit. My. Options. In. Any. Way.

What people on this forum say, and real life may not always be accurate, it WILL limit my options, and severely, maybe I want to work for a small company, but they only have manuals, and can’t afford automatics,
