I remember driving down at the bottom thinking you’ll never get me way up there as they were building the bridge lol

 

The current company I work for pulled a load out of Ohio to Toronto which when searched at the border (Sarnia) contained heroin between the back skids.

Tractor & trailer was seized by CBSA, driver was detained but released the same day. It sat at the border for a few weeks until the investigation was complete. In the end the company and driver were cleared of any wrong doing. I'm not sure what happened after that, I never asked.

The truth is we all probably have pulled drugs unknowingly, my trainer at challenger told me the same thing as well. It's why I always fill out the CTPAT forms before I cross the border.

 

Whatever happened to the driver ?

 

Frickin crazy. and so....who's on the hook for the lawyer?

 

Had that happened on US soil it would take 48 YEARS to get driver out of the pokey
