What you describe is assault with valid threat matching three criteria I would need to draw and open fire as a licensed carry. Don't worry about the 50. Many will scatter and the few who present contuining threats will be stopped.

Society is not what it was and with constant agitators seeking to destroy, disrupt or even attack I am not surprised at all.

Ammo? no problem. 5 magazines and about 35 seconds to settle the issue. It wont take half that long hopefully. As far as evidence I carry a body cam now so... that will settle quickly the entire situtaion.

I would hate the whole mess in the first place. I would be not obligated to involved myself or be near such a problem area where there is a threat of mob action in the first place. We are not a stand your ground state. We do however have castle doctrine among other considerations.

The biggest issue was being around something like that. Don't do it again.

Any time your area dissolves into arnachy or mob action etc you have no rule of law anymore. Just Mob.

I grew up in Baltimore and we twice thrashed military formations trying to get across the city by mob action due to the really powerful sentiments in the civil war time. The military units were run off. And latter the city was occupied by cannon and troops to keep the mobs corralled for the duration of that war.

However Washington DC in 1968 declared Baltimore a Hostile City and invaded with three divisions of Infantry. With additional formations in reserve. In 7 days the city was subdued. And that was that.

 

I’m confused. Were you protesting illegal immigration in general, the Lima program, or the amount of immigrants in trucking? Why did you choose to be passive when you were put up against the wall? You can use reasonable force to defend yourself. Why did you not pour water on the person that did it to you? That’s a proportionate response? I’m trying to figure out what exactly your protesting here.

So your protest was to stop immigration all together? Why did you not use a proportionate level of force to defend yourself? Your well within your rights to do so.
