Hazmat Status please help

I applied to get my Hazmat and I had some stuff on my background. So I send my info in and I check my status and it’s not saying this. Anybody ever had this status and can provide with info

 

Are you able to go online for a more detailed description of your status? In any event, those letters usually come quickly.

 

No I can’t get anything else besides this status.

 

That's the normal and last online message before you receive your TSA letter. They DO NOT post online "you have passed your background check." I don't know anyone that has failed their background check, but I am nearly certain they would NOT post "you have failed your background check."

BTW if anyone applies for HazMat and TWIC at the same time you, in theory, can see your TWIC status. But in my experience TWIC does not update the online message. I did both and it took just over 30 days from fingerprints until I received my TSA letter.

Also, NEVER EVER do the phone/online pre-enrollment for fingerprints UNLESS you will be doing fingerprints right away. Once you pre-enroll by phone or online it starts a countdown clock. This countdown clock causes your HazMat to expire a month or two BEFORE your CDL expiration.

I got the same online message when I first applied for my Hazmat. The letter came in the mail a couple days later.

 

Was you approve or deny ? Did you have anything on your background?

 

I was approved. I didn't have anything on my background. I believe on the TSA website they have a list of disqualifying offenses, you might want to take a look at that.

 

My letter never came. Just call the 800 number and they will tell you if you passed. DMV should have the results in the database as well.
