What did dispatch say to do with it?The shipper could have accidentally loaded more then what the customer ordered.

 

I worked for the Burlington Northern RR while going to Grad School in the late 70s. We use to find all kinds of good stuff in box cars. They would unload them but leave stuff in them to come steal at night. Train would pull out without them having time to steal.

 

Many reefer drivers have a couple of nice, big, chest type freezers at the house just for situations like this.

 

Not me. If I am told I own something, that becomes currency to get a dock and loaded in 15 minutes. Im not subjecting my folks to 100 gallons of tabasco sauce... they would be sick of it.

I think either Texas or NM, not sure. Someone hollared grill time follow me. Ended up offroad onto a ranch once. I couldnt tell you where because frankly It was something possible.

Turned out to be a couple dozen rigs eating grill off a flatbed and a fridge food truck meats etc.

Generous people. It was a day to remember. No particular occasion.

Dont go scouting all over looking fellas and fillys.. easy whoa... this is like 30 years ago...

Nice Christmas gifts. Reefer drivers do their Christmas shopping early and continuously.

 

Wally world is Guilty of doing this sometimes when they over order. A couple hard brakes in reverse with the doors open usually does the trick.
