I wondered if someone called in and reported that they were injured due to the wind pulling them off of their flatbed because of the umbrella that they were holding, if they would consider that a preventable accident. It would be interesting!

    jxu417 Thanks this.

I know a real easy fix to the heat issues. Drink water & throw in a gatorade every now & then. And that's all day, everyday. Take breaks. Especially if you are tarping. And if your FM is getting on your case about running out of time to make the del? Tell them to F off. It's your butt on the line in this heat & it's your life. I have been drinched with sweat like I had crawled out of a pool at 1am before. And with my tour in Iraq as an CLS (EMT-IV), I know all about the heat & what it can do.

I have been approved and I am heading to Little Rock whenever they can squeeze me in to train for TCD. I am female, 52, 5.8 145lbs. I am far from an Amazon women...? (not meant to offend anyone) I am really scared that I will not pass the physical part of orientation? I put 80 lbs in a box at home and lifted it up on to a 5 feet railing. It took ALL I had to do this!
I can climb, no problem. My health is great. I have no BP or heart issues or drug problems. I can even wrestle a tarp up on the back deck...my way using the step and my knees..lol
Am I getting scared and worked up over nothing? Can someone give me some input on the physical test? I do not want to get there and fail. I desire to drive for maverick more than anywhere else..!! Also, any female Maverick drivers on this site that have done the physical? Thanks in advance for the information.
