Hello Everyone

Hi there, new to driving here, but not new to trucking. My parents were presidents and such of trucking companies so I have been around trucks for ever. I worked as a driver helper (basically) from the age of 12 to 21. I was sick of traveling so I quit which was a stupid move on my part. I have been a fleet manager and a safety coordinator of a fleet. I just never got my CDL because I didn't want to be gone all the time. Now I am at a truck driving school in Springfield, MO. I have driven before (not legally) but just around here and there. i also have taken a bunch of college courses on the CFR 49 Transportation so I know some about the rules and regs of the business.
