Hello TTR!

Hey everybody.

I just signed up for this site but have been reading through the posts for over a year now. I have to say that this is one of the best managed sites I've ever been on!

I'm 20 years old. I turn 21 in June. I'm unemployed (again) after being laid off (not fired) from two different companies back to back. I haven't been to college or anything. I'm looking forward to getting into trucking this summer after I turn 21 and get my CDL.

I live in Southern California currently but will probably move to Texas this summer. Most of my family lives throughout Texas. I'll be looking to be based out of DFW or Houston, but I want to drive OTR and see the country.

I'm planning on going to a separate truck driving school so I'm not obligated to a certain company. Probably will haul refrigerated vans.

One of the most important questions I will have to ask is what the pet policy is for some of these companies. I have to take my dog (a 13 pound MinPin).
