I have a 2014 kenworth with cummins ISL9 and these wires have been cut. I know they go to the VGT solenoid data lines, but don't know where they terminate. Anyone Know?

    Hmmmm..

My first guess is that those are for the datalink connector on the Cummins side harness and the connector is missing. Can you ohm it out to the ECM to confirm. If you dont have access to QSOL please post ESN so we can check the pin locations.

The datalink connector will be a triangular Deutsch connector.

    spsauerland and pushbroom Thank this.

It has continuity to the same lines as the turbo actuator and nox j1939d data lines. It also has 2.+ Volts at if ignition on. The esn is 49931200 I believe think it's cm2250 ecm

    Your ESN is no good.

It is the service tool connector on the Cummins side. Order repair ends /connector and a cap or replace the harness. The wires terminate where they are. Someone has cut off the connector.

    spsauerland Thanks this.

Shouldn't it be possible to connect to the Cummins with just the 9pin in can?

Yes, 9 pin inside the cab is OEM supplied.

Cummins always has a 2 pin on their side harness for reliable hookup direct to the ECM for flashing. All on highway engines have this.

    spsauerland Thanks this.

Ok wonder why I'm having an issue seeing the Cummins side then?

Do you know if that is tied into another piece or dead ends at connector?

Your missing the terminating resistor from the end connector. The datalink is open. Get the new connector installed with the terminating cap and it should talk .

    AModelCat and spsauerland Thank this.
