So do I. But if you need them every night, it's no good. Your body will start needing more and more, as it gets used to it.

Agree about some white noise. Or, I use gentle, (read that boring,) music, turned down low. Low enough that you know it's there, but doesn't disturb you.

Of everything I've read here, this is the best advice! Blue light, such as comes from all our electronic goodies, is actually stimulating to the body. OTOH, if you can get some low level red light, just a glow, if possible, it helps you to relax.
Not only have I been told this by my sleep doc, I was reading a study on this a few weeks ago. IF I can find the article, I'll link to it.

That one would have me reaching for my shotgun!:D

Is that attached to the dog some way?

Go go Google Play Store on your phone and download Librivox app. A good audio book helps me fall asleep.

It takes awhile getting use to sleeping in the trk.I assume you're in training?Once that's done and you have your own trk it'll get easier and easier falling asleep.

I couldnt do it as team. Plus my other drove as if he was empty and alone.
Some drivers are really good at traffic stops and congestion, smooth stops. I did if for him,
he couldn't. I was so tired, I quit the team thing. Too dangerous to be driving like that half asleep.
Rather make a little less than killing someone or everyone.

i drive all night, sleep during the day. then next day sleep at night, drive in the day. Listening to hyponosis YT videos put me to sleep in 5 min flat. Breathing and concentrating on relaxing one part of your body at a time.
