Long shoot here but what the heck. I am stuck in Perry Ok and all the freight I am finding is cheap crap loads. Been here since thursday. Does anyone know any contacts down this way that might get me moving on something decent. Thanks for the help in advance.

Bite the bullet and either take a cheapy the shortest distance possible to a better area, or throw it in the wind and get out of there, to someplace better. You can wait forever for that great load, while your expenses just keep racking up, every day.

Yes i am with Kaplan But i run all over. I self dispatch most of my loads. As for the sitting issue Its not costing me anything I have a friend here who is letting me crash with them and vist while we wait....I would take a crap load but the loads around here are not even good enough to be crap. I just got off the phone with one broker who wants to pay 75 cent a mile on loaded miles which leaves me 45 cent a mile on all miles and its going to st louis ky which my buddy just left there with a crap load at a 1.35 a miles....so its a what do I do moment. do you think i should take the crap of the crap loads or wait. And does anyone know any contacts down this way....thanks again

Actually, it does cost you. Your fixed costs and food still have a daily cost, even if you have no truck payment.
