But, the valve was replaced only 2yrs ago. I know that doesnt mean much nowadays but at least its not the original one from 99.
Thanks. I will try that...
Cant be many things that always have air..
So far:
1. dual air seats (new and no leaks)
2. cab air bags/leveler (bags replaced)
3. Rear Suspension..hmm..
4. foot brake/hand brake (both dont leak)
I know there is NO leak in the dash at least. Maybe something as simple as a hose on the main tank. I have not begun to look underneath yet. Its been so dam hot outside.. -
In my on going search of air leaks...I also checked:
Dash and PSI gauges.
Cab air bags and leveler unit.
The air compressor/fittings.
The Governor and fittings.
The dryer and fittings.
All 3 tanks and fittings.
Soaped up big time.....
So far, NO leaks. There is a distribution panel with hoses I am going to check out next. Its under the drivers feet area, under the rig.
There must be like 10 hoses there..mostly small ones....air is escaping from somewhere... -
Is the air leak more than the allowed limit? If not just drive the truck and don't worry about it.

After 3-5 days of sitting...primary tank has 30psi or less while the secondary side sits at 90psi. After overnight, the main tank prolly looses about 20-30psi. Nothing to worry about or anything like that, but this is personal now...big time. I hope I will find some leaks on that air panel I mentioned, since I am almost out of ideas. You cannot hear ANY air no matter how quiet it is around or under the rig. Very tiny leak(s) is what i am after now.

A brand new truck right off of the lot will leak like that,....
Hanadarko Thanks this. -
I know....
But....I got to at least check for something obvious and then when I am out of ideas - I quit.
The dash leak was bad and audible. This isnt and isnt.. -
Maybe you can smoke test it like they do cooling systems and other contained systems. That would be the easiest way to find leaks.
