help transporting a cat D6

    Pulled a D8 dozer in the woods with no chains at a high rate of speed. Did not care if it fell off. More concerned with the wildfire I was trying to out run.

    If you're moving it a long distance, cover the exhaust stack, so I'm told. Air blowing thru it can spin the turbo, no oil pressure there if it's not running.

    With my experience I wood say not to haul it with a step deck at all
