I posted this in the docked thread but wasn't sure if it applied the same as how to get a copy of the DAC report so I am asking here as well.

Hubby's DAC report that we requested came today. We decided to send off for a copy since that seems to be the recommended thing to do. I sent it for him and I requested these three things:

    MVR
    DAC report for employment history
List of companies that have made inquiries

When the report came today there is nothing in there that appears to be an MVR. There should not be anything on the MVR but there is nothing saying that either.

There is a three page list of where he was in school back last summer and those companies that gave him a pre-hire letter had inquired into several things on his background.

And then there is a single page letter that says the following: At the present time we have no information on file from your previous employers for social security number ......

So does this mean the DAC is clean as it should be? Does this mean his present employer that he has been with since last June has not reported anything? Why does it not at least show where he is employed?

    Thanks for any help.

Yes it means the report is clean.

Current employers rarely place information on your DAC, while you are employed with them.

That's why it's wise to have a job, before you quit. And not worry so much about the 2 week notice.

    Hometime Thanks this.

dance694u is correct. Carriers will not place anything on your DAC until you seperate from them. An exception I have seen is when a major accident is involved. The DAC report is basically a method for companies to communicate with each other regarding drivers.

So, no news is good news.
