I get $2 per mile or even $3 per mile but that depends on a lot of factors including where I am going and what is the weight of what I am hauling. Anything out of NJ is just crap. But that being said my carrier has a few agreement based loads that pay that and thankfully they don't take a huge percentage neither.

With a flat at Mercer, I'm currently(well sorta current, I've been home most of September)averaging over that on all miles. Mainly running 5 to7 hundred mile trips in the Midwest and southeast. And right at a weekly average of 2200 miles. this time last year I was at 2.20ish ttt.

Just trying to show you better is out there, and you will find it. Just keep searching and working your contacts/making new contracts, etc. And when you do find it, don't slack up, keep pushing yourself to find the next gig.
