Aight well guess I will introduce myself.... I am new here and like alot that i see on here. I am 24 years old and in Central Arkansas. Been driving since I was 18. Always drove for companies... I have done mostly logging and timber industry stuff but also some OTR. Mostly flatbed and reefer stuff. I drive a chip truck right now... but that book may be coming to a close cuz I can't put food on the table when the mill shuts down. Been a tough year for us. Thinking about giving being an owner operator a shot... have come close before but like most chickened out at the last minute. Wouldn't stay in the timber industry if i did... would definitely do something else. Any advice? Been reading the owner operator stuff and glad to see some positive out looks on it.
