Ever since my company changed over to Elogs, it has been challenging to find the right loads. I needed highest paid loads with minimal miles. Bye bye to the 500-700 mile runs. Running flatbed loads of 200 to 400 miles seems to pay the most per mile. Loads out of SC, NC, GA, AL, TN, VA, OH, WV seems to be better paying. I average close to $3/miles running 300-400 mile flatbed runs. My daily gross is $900 to $1600 daily. All my loads are on InternetTruckstop loadboard. This year has been a great year so far, but once rates comes down, i am worried that the shorter runs might drop in rates to below $2/ mile. Then i'll be in trouble.

Lease on to me and I can give you 1.00 per mile. That's profitable right?
Lepton1 and spyder7723 Thank this. -

TSH from what I seen is cheap. Them 200 mile loads should be paying more than 600. Plus it's tarp loads.

I get lucky every now and then and pull some $1300 115 mile loads, 4500 pounds, 6 straps and take off

Left over scraps huh I see there trucks pulling these loads like crazy. Looking at how there trucks look, I'd say the rates are what she's telling me.
