:biggrin_25523:Hirschbach motorlines brought me in for orientation i road a bus there from ky. they put me in a motel paid for my meals. i passed everything. the last day of orientation the log dept had a prob with a logging test i had taken the day before. with it being the day before thanksgiving i didnt know what i was gonna do if they decided not to hire me because of that logging test. so i called another co who had already approved me and told them i may or may not need to come to work for them. hirschbach found out about that and decided they didnt need me. what a waste of my time. no log violations in six years. no wrecks. no drug or dui charges. if u wanna drive then go somewhere they need u and want u. thats not hirschbach. the orientation personel was rude as well as the head of the logging dept. good luck to all

What kind of problem could they have had with a logging test that would result in termination?

Ok,I'm not questioning whatt you are posting regarding the tet or being let go, but is there any other pertinent information that your are leaving out. Did you have a run in with someone there or clash with a trainer?

    Oh I see meltom.

Wouldnt it make more sense to test your logging practices after training with a trainer? Sounds weird.

OP states they're an experience driver. Why would you need to spend time with a trainer?

Normally I would support you, but there's more to the story. You already have another job lined up but Hirschbach knew about it. How did they know?? It's not like the other one contacted them for a background check.

Your inability to fill out a logsheet is nobodies fault but your own. It's part of the job. Companies can't just overlook it anymore. Especially when the DOT is watching them closely.
