HOS changes and my perspective on EOBR's...

I would love to watch drivers using E-LOGS doing LTL In the Big Apple....Then come on here and tell everyone ''i am making big money''...I will laugh my balls off....

These guys on E-LOGS up here are STRESSED TO THE MAXX...No parking when it is time to go night night.Hours and hours of sitting on docks.Traffic is hell...These guys make 90.00 a day if they are lucky...The only way to make ''e-logs'' work for a DRIVER, is a 100% DROP AND HOOK DEAL...You have to cut the reciever and shippers out of your life...

I know some guys that work 5 days a week,HOME EVERY DAY and they use e-logs.All they do is drop and hook,terminal to terminal..They gross out at around 1,700 weekly..

I for one would never do e-logs over the road unless it is a drop and hook deal...IMO...

 

Without getting into a pissing match.... I do understand the "other" side as I currently have drivers beside myself. I may not be as big as you are but that doesn't disqualify my opinions at the matter at hand. I also have another business with 7 current employees that involve local driving. I still do not have to babysit my drivers as they know when I find out they have been slacking off I will not give warnings I will just fire them. These drivers are "dispatched" multiple times per day and I use cell phones.

If a carrier feels they need to have 100% control by using technology to keep "tabs" on their drivers then so be it. I personally do not feel I have to be one of those types.

You are just trying to make trouble and go on the attack for us guys that get ''creative''.You have taken this whole ''safty stance'' approch and feel the need to tell the world,you can't cheat and don't.This helps you somehow justify some insecurity within yourself.Some form of Self Rightousness..

The fact is this.If i want to smoke a joint and drink mad dog 20/20,it's Know one's business.If i want to roll at 110 MPH it is know ones business.If i want to lie,cheat and steal to make more money,it is know ones business...

The Self Rightous people on E-LOGS are pissed at the paper log guys because they can not be creative...The E-Loggers seem to be pissed that they took the Mark Of The Beast and many of us choice not to..They seem to dislike the Wolves in trucking and have an ax to grind with us...

My reason behind it is MONEY.I am here to make the big bucks and have a nice life,not 600.00 a week living in a truck....

I love watching all of you dumb down E-loggers sit in deadend streets at the shipper and recievers.Meanwhile i am at the casino or in town haveing a nice dinner and a drink...Keep up the good work there scooter.We like ''parking lot sitters''...Be sure to pack your fridge from ALDI'S.You don't want to run out of that welfare food while sitting in front of the shippers and recievers...

Did i mention that i have over 3.2 Million Miles SAFE,without an E-LOG Babysitter...I love my paper logs...
