Hello Everyone-
I'm new to this site and wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone. I've been reading threads of this site for a couple years now just never joined.
I started with Millis about 2 years ago and went to the MTI in Ohio. I was out with my trainer for about a month before I had to quit and return home for family member care reasons. Millis was pretty awesome I had a pretty enjoyable experience. My trainer was cool although he'd get mad and talk to me like I was stupid sometimes but hey if that's all I had to worry about I was golden.
The unfortunate thing is I never actually got my CDL and I don't any experience in any companies eyes. I've been researching flatbed companies for a while as I'm finally able to return to what I love. Maverick is my #1 choice but I'm not sure if they are hiring or what division would be available. I live in Indianapolis now but I'm going to be moving to STL soon. I plan to call a recruiter and see what the options are. I only have 1 preventable accident on my record. It was only a year and a half ago though. Not sure if that will kill me.
Well that's my story and how I got here. I look forward to talking shop with you guys!
How Do!

Thanks guys for the welcome! I will certainly comply with the rules!

Hey, don't worry about rules, that just Baack's auto reply !
If you are thinking about returning to driving, I suggest either searching for details on specific companies, (use the search button on the toolbar at the top of page) or maybe posting a thread asking for ideas.
You will get more info that way than by asking companies for the 'official' version!
Good luck with your search, and keep posting!Last edited: Jul 5, 2009
