Haul auto parts for a major vehicle company. Has not slowed down and we are still hiring drivers. Unless there is another major parts shortage I can not see us slowing down anytime soon
How is everyone’s company doing right now

Is the company trying to say the cost of living is less in the area and therefore the rate should be less . News flash it’s not that much cheaper and when companies like tim hortons pay $30 to start and $33 after 3 years how much cheaper can you go . sysco is advertising up to $110k a year back breaking work up and down a ramp but still advertising a high salaryAnother Canadian driver Thanks this. -

That would be a Mississauga to Vaudreuil rounder. I would assume his terminal is east MTL and his TOR terminal is Mississauga, but if it was out in east GTA, he could obviously do it in less with alot less headaches for traffic.Another Canadian driver, Canadianhauler21 and Albertaflatbed Thank this. -
Even from Ajax to Dorian it would be a struggle to keep up that pace.Another Canadian driver and Canadianhauler21 Thank this. -

He didn’t say 5 trips in 5 days so it might be a 5.5 /6 day week

According to the MTO it takes 13 hrs to drive to Montreal and back from 27 and 50 area, so that leaves 1 hr to fuel, do inspection, drop and hook on each end etc. So 1 little snafu and you're beat.
That's what I'm saying
And do 5 a week, every week, is impossible to do 100% legally
JMO of course, ymmv
Is any body else old enough to remember where the 13 hrs drive time comes from in CAN.
Think Consumers dist, and SLHAnother Canadian driver and Canadianhauler21 Thank this.
