These days are strange for sure. Was looking at some news feeds. In Salt Lake City, UT. They had a protest that really went sideways. Vandalism run rampant, flipped and burned a police vehicle. 75 miles north in Ogden, UT, they held a protest. Something like 1800 people showed up. Not one incident from the Ogden activities.

Something I note in a number of the photos from these protests going on around the country. Most of the people who seem to be engaged in the violence are young white males. At least they are the ones getting photographed.
One other thing that seems to be of concern, when local people are interviewed about the situation, they seem to point out that most of the people who are involved with the violence are not from or local to the place.

have to say, have been avoiding going into or through some places to stay clear of potential hot spots.

Whats he planting? Bit late for corn or beans.

Planting corn. Still have a couple weeks for corn and probably 4 weeks for beans here in Indiana. He is pretend farming in the carpet though. His grandpa farms 2500 acres and has all the real size stuff. ;) (Although with all this rain it may be a 2nd year of not getting it all planted! Sucks.)

FYI I know everyone is on pins and needles about my 3rd side for the cook out. Went with watermelon!

In regards to the riots. I found something really helpful for all of us and I’ll be watching closely for when my guys and trucks need to go into the cities. I’m really nervous about the Bronx NY delivery tomorrow.

Anyway... check out Snap Map You can see where the hot spots are and watch people’s videos and live feeds like your right there on the ground. Before you go in check what’s going on for your route and pickup/delivery.

Both beans and corn have been in for a few weeks out in most of the western area. We do need some rain, not a monsoon, but a few good slow soakers would be nice. Seeing a lot of first cuts too.

Be happy that all he wants to do is corn, potatoes could be a problem.
