Howdy from California

The name’s Roy. I’ve lurked here a bit, and decided to join. Not a trucker, but I live out on the road. My wife and me, our vacations are road trips. Been to all 50 states by now, and a few countries. I’m a road warrior and do most of the driving, in all kinds of weather good and bad, and my wife is my friend and a road warrior too and we keep each other company.

I joined because of gear info, mostly. We often drive out to remote places. Comm / radio / XM / CB, etc... I’ll probably spend most of my time over on the electronics and gadgets forum. I’m working to make sure my rig is equipped well to handle the adventure travel we like doing (I’m also on Expedition Portal). And you guys and gals are the professionals out on our roads, and I’m looking forward to sharing info and experiences with you.
