Hi everybody! I just graduated from Roadmasters in San Antonio and am having a heck of a time finding a job. Even graduated at the top of my class! Had 2 prehires tell me never mind after reviewing an accident I had in January. Really discouraged right now and any advice would be great before I take a job as a school bus driver. So far you guys have saved me from taking a job with CR England tho.

I have wanted to do this for a long time now. Does anyone know of any South Texas oil field companies hiring student drivers? Preferably ones that don't want someone to drive 6 hours, work 30 hours and drive another 6 hours back.

Thanks for the great info on this forum by the way!

First of all welcome. Congrats on your recent graduation. I too have had some trouble finding a job but if you stay with it you will find one too. Good luck, and sorry I couldn't share more knowledge

Thanks Bruiser! Yeah, I know something will come along soon but Im tired of waiting! Just read some good things about Sygma though. Glad I applied with them earlier today. I was a courier for 3 years driving between San Antonio and Austin. Some good, hard work sounds good. As long as I get to relax behind the wheel between the heavy lumps!
