Drivers beware...I cannot say it any more clear....stay the #### away from this company...bad news on every level...I've been driving 30 yrs now...and have never experienced a company like this...I've heard about them but holyshit...do not let the peterbilts draw you in...the lease option is bull ####...during your 2 day orientation you will sign more paperwork than you have ever signed in your life....if you don't sign it they will show you the door....you may be smart but there is more paperwork than you can review in the short two days there...it would take lawyers days to go over their contracts...their job is not pushing freight but pushing drivers everyweek...they will make more money off you than any freight they can haul...and you will never ever see your last paycheck...you will run 3000 a week but they have it set up to were you won't see your guarantee because your fuel milage was down or you didn't ware your seat belt or you were going to fast or you didn't get ecm plugged in for your check up....there will always be a reason and they will show you how legit it is ....but you know it's ########...I'm a good man a family man....I didn't deserve what they do to there new drivers ...but here I am...I'll lick my wounds and move on ...better days to come...good luck out there stay safe ...keep trucking...just not with Hurricane express...God bless you all...

Lot's said about these guys on this forum, and none of it good. How you got suckered into them with 30 years under your belt is a mystery to me. I'm sorry you got mixed up with that bunch, but if you learned from the experience maybe all is not lost. Good luck going forward.

I saw a Hurricane Express truck recently that wasn't a hood with twin stacks. How are they going to suck them in without the nice-looking trucks?

    Question of the day!

How does someone with 30 years of experience choose willing to work for Hurricane Express?

Those chicken lights on the trucks irresistible? :p

P.T. Barnum famously said "There's a sucker born every minute" and nowhere is that more true than the wonderful trucking industry. I'd imagine that revolving door at Hurricane Express never stops spinning.

Those pretty Petes are rather........seductive. I must say, if they penalize you for not wearing your seatbelt, or for going too fast, why not wear your seatbelt and slow down? That would cut down a couple of grievances....

You guys forgot about the part where the trucks either have one fuel tank activated or only one fuel tank as a whole!;)

Are there companies that actually do that to cut down on weight?

I remember watching a video from a driver facing camera of someone who got in a rollover wreck while not wearing their seatbelt, it looked like they got a free trip to the moon. I just hope their truck and trailer had a fancy paint job and a bunch of fancy lights all over.
