Needing help on which route to take. Currently setup with two systems on one truck wanting to go to one system for both applications. Systems are listed below.
System #1 side mount pto directly to 3 blackmer pump(pumping light and heavy oils)gas, ethanol, diesel, motor oil,hyd oil, trans oil.
System #2 bottom mount pto with complete wet system(50 gal tank, etc, etc).
Can a hydrapac do both applications? Do I need a cooler along with the 50 gal tank?
My main goals are to save weight and simplify 2 systems to one.
No one locally can comprehend what I want too do!

If doing dump, you do not need a hydropak, 50 gals if enough to keep the hydraulic fluid cool.
Where do you live?
It can be done I think, but you'll need a special pump instead of a standard hydraulic dump pump. I just don't know the exact way to set it up. If you're anywhere near Louisville, there's a great shop about 12 miles north in sellersburg in. -
Yes ... one can do both. But it takes engineering, and a couple of well placed valves....
These guys did mine.....too notch work. And I’m very picky . I have kind what you have 2 systems. But we were discussing one and I opted for the 2

Don’t know if they will do the engineering if you don’t buy anything thoLast edited: Mar 1, 2019
ChicagoJohn Thanks this. -
Can you run both a dump & product pump?
-
Yes..... I have 2 systems. One with a hydro pack and product pump and lines for a trailer mounted pump. The other a regular 2 line dump set up...
But they can do it with one with a hydro pack. And a few valves.ChicagoJohn Thanks this. -
Just for clarification I'm wanting to eliminate the 50 gal tank being it has the most weight.

Can’t run a dump trailer with out a tank.... smallest I’ve ever heard of are 35 gals.....
My hydro pack has less than 5 galsChicagoJohn Thanks this. -
If you want to do dump, you need to be able to fill the cylinder to raise the dump. Most Hydropaks only hold 2.5-5.5 gallons. That's not nearly enough the push a cylinder up. If you're looking to lose weight, have your fuel tank split. That'll save you roughly 450-500#'s
