    I know some where this is answered on the fmcsa website but I could not find it the other day:biggrin_25510:

    I don't have time now. It is confusing I know it's confusing no doubt in my mind it's confusing (so am I l.o.l.).

    Well I am hoping PSanderson answers this one :)

    It would be simpler to use one log book but as mentioned before some carriers want their own books used so 2 books need to be used .
    We're not done yet . Should the unit numbers of the tractors and trailer from each company be listed on both logs or just on the company owning the truck ? Not knowing the right method could make an audit a real headache , not to mention auditing by computer within the company .
