Climate Change.

 

Climate change happens whether hoomans are here or not, just ask the dinosaurs. I will say that I don't believe taking out the earth's insulation (oil) helps the cause much, but one volcano belches out more toxic pollutants in 3hrs than our entire race does in 3yrs. Almost everything that has ever lived has been in a race against time. Some evolve, some don't. We'll see what happens to 'us'....

 

I"m surprised there's any oil left to still be pulling.

Must be an endless supply down under.

 

I read something several years ago that said most of the other planets in our system were also going into a warming trend. Only once, never to be seen again.

The climate changes, and has done so many times in the past with no human intervention. I don't see how this time can be all our fault, or that we can really do anything about it except to prepare for it.

They run around like chickens with the head cut off, trying to 'fix' the problem.
But I suspect it has already reached the tipping point and can not be reversed no matter what we do.

 

Yes, Doomsday is near but im still keeping my wheels turning..

The planet won't die and neither will we.
But many people might want to consider moving to higher ground.

In a hundred years we may have tourist boats going out to see the tip of the Transamerica Pyramid sticking out of the Old San Francisco Bay.

Ah, the City By The Bay...
I remember it so well.

 

They'll just call Richmond 'The City by the Bay'
Or Oxnard
