Make sure you have a pure sine wave inverter.

 

Why do you print your logs? I would say computer files are sufficient, and they can be stored everywhere: computer, email, online storage, and an external drive.

 

I no longer print them since going to elog.. I used to print them off from Big Road when I used their paper log app...I was required to turn in my logs weekly wher I worked.

 

I’ve also had ink problems in the summer. I always carry an extra ink cartridge and leave it inside the fridge during summer. Ink cartridges are recommended to be used within a certain amount of time once installed, or you can also take them out and store them inside the fridge following the instructions in this website:

Had mine for about 4 years, bought at Walmart for 59.00, never had a problem, summer or winter. Make sure you power down printer before unplugging. The print head must be parked before unplugging, if not the head/cartridge will dry up.

 

Bought one 3 yrs ago on clearance at walmart for $25 .00 . Its main use is for scanning Bols , still running.
