Is there idle restrictions at schneider? I heard that they were putting some kind of unit on the trucks where a driver cant idle unless within certain perameters.

Yes. The truck won't idle between the temps of 20 and 70. But I hear it won't idle anyway below 20.

when its 70 outside its about 80 inside the truck so be prepaired to do some sweating especially in the summer and when its humid. You should sign up with a company that has apu's like prime.

what you really should do is do your research and try to hire on with a company that best suits what YOU want out of this business. Dont settle for just anyone who will hire you.

note, I'm not saying this because the above poster mentioned Prime. I know nothing of them or their operations.
