I have had zero inspections in the last 12 months. I go through scale house almost every day. That being said the reason that is so is because I have had my numbers since 2009. I now carry in my state and the states that surround me. When I started out working off the load board going everywhere with new numbers seemed like I got stopped 2 or 3 times a month.

My MC # starts 815. Issued Feb? 2013. I was inspected in my dodge at least 6 times a year. Almost all level 3's. Not one single violation. Be running the FLD about 15 months now. One level 2, no violation. Notice I said level 2..?

I'd always ask the bear why do y'all like to target hotshots? #1 answer was "they easier to inspect." Close 2nd was "I don't have to crawl under there to check your slacks." 3rd was the obvious "little trucks are trying to skate the law in some way.."

But notice #1 & 2 answer was basically the same. They meet their quota of level 3's with less work. Comes down to laziness. All the more reason to keep on your toes, & your rig up to snuff..

Still saving my pennys. Can't wait to get me a drop deck. Then the bears might bother me even less..
