There's a company the next town over that makes them things if that's what I'm thinking you're thinking about. :) They look about 6 foot square or maybe bigger?? That's just guessdamating. I see Delta and other airline logos on the side of them.

Close, but the ones I saw looked like a hut, and were of Rough fiberglass, kind of yellowish color, not sanded down or nothing. The ones you have there are the new kind. The front opening had a NET covering the whole front.

Back when TWA used to run 727's as freighters we used igloos that were the width of the plane. Makes for quick loading/unloading and the pilots didn't have to hire a lumper either. We had some 727 QC for quick change, they run in passenger mode during the day and at night they pulled out all the seats and hauled freight. The concept was solid, but if you had delays or cancellations in one direction, you would have to cancel a return flight. A big headache, especially in the winter.

Those are the ones I used to see. One time at American Airlines at Ohare Airport, that had an area quaranteened off and had a huge container with bars on the front, It had a Black Panther in it, and you could hear this thing make some load noises.

I can remember at another Airline, at Ohare Airport, I was young and My dad would take me with him and I can Remember to this day, they had a vending machine with the knobs you pull and the item would come out.
It had these Homemade Pies in them, all for 25cents. Loved dem things.
