im stumped

    I have an 07 century with a cat. The problem we are having seems to

    only happen when the ac is on and the compressor kicks in. However, it is still random meaning it doesn't happen everytime. We get a power loss, akin to turning the key off then right back on. This happens regardless of high or low idle. I am assuming its a bad ground or hot associated with the compressor but can not find it. Knowing freightliner it could also be just about anything.

    Any advice would be helpful.

    On a side note it does not happen while driving and no codes or faults are thrown.

    A shorted AC clutch coil will cause this on engagement. Replace the clutch coil.
