Recently got my CDL and now I am headed to Indy. I start orientation on the 21st for a dedicated Wal-Mart route. I'm nervous, but excited to get my new career rolling. I have heard alot of good things about working for SNI. I hope a least a few of them are true..![]()

Were they able to tell you how much you will be making on the Walmart account?
Congrats!! -
She didn't give my any exact figures, but she said I would average 2000 miles per week at 0.31 cpm, $15 per stop after the first stop, and there an extra 0.12 cpm for runs under 100 miles. -
I would think 0.31cpm is above average for new drivers. After reading posts on here about new drivers making less than 0.30.

Good luck! Schneider is a good company to work for as long as the DBL is good - best ones were drivers themselves. (I think you should be a driver first, then a DBL). Anyways, .31cpm is actually good $$ for start, many start at $.26-.29 with different companies. I use to be on the Home Depot account, great people to work with most of the time. Get to know your receiving guys, you'll deal with them on daily basis.

I am very happy with the money being offered. I don't need alot of money, but I don't want to do it for free either. The home time was another big reason I decided to go with Schneider. My wife is pregnant and due in early April. Being home 2 days a week sounds much better than the OTR life to both of us.
