I have a 2008 Freightliner century with 60 series engine. I changed the coolant surge tank place from the radiator to firewall on the driver side, the same as in 2005 freightliner century. during work I broke the plug in pigtail. I bought a new one but I do not know where the power wire goes. I tried both sides and it is giving me the error on dashboard ENG Coolant level Sht Hi 128 111 03. Does the power wire go on the right or the left side when you are facing the sensor?
    Help and suggestion are appreciated

    Thank you

I would go to the dealer with your VIN, have them print up the wiring diagram (they normally do this for free), and see what you need.

I fixed the plug in but now it tells me coolant level low 128 111 01. What do I do now? Where do I start?

Sounds like you bought a used tank 3 years earlier. It's possible the sensor is bad in it.

I’ve had more problems with this sensor and the pigtail itself than anything else on my Freightliner/Detroit. Jump the plug, paperclip works best on mine. I’ve twisted wires together. Same thing. I don’t think it matters which way the wires go. If the code goes away . It’s usually the sensor. Usually can change them without losing much coolant. Work fast. Sometimes a good cleaning will do the trick. They get an invisible film on them sometimes.
