ok i bought a 400 watt inverter that connects to the port for charging. anyways. i turned it on the green light comes on fine. and everything. when i connect the fridge the led light in the fridge flickers back and forth. and the fan wants to but cannot move? why is this happening???? what is making the coolor not work. yes the cooler works anywhere else

Whats the make and model of the cooler? Maybe the inverter is bad, try another device in it to see? Maybe the cooler draws more power than the inverter can supply? 400 might be peak numbers just throwing it out there....

Are you trying to run a dorm fridge on a 400 watt inverter plugged into a 9V cig lighter plug. That will not work. You need a bigger inverter wired directly to the truck batteries.

when a fridge starts up the compressor draws alot of power. look up the peak draw for it.

That inverter is too small for that job. Get one that is 1500 watts, you wont have a problem then.
