issues downshifting

    Why the need for downshifting from 7th to 6th on a 10 spd gearbox ?
    At that speed where is the need ?

    I have a stronger background in the tech side of this business and I have found that it is not uncommon at all to have a syncro that is a little worn in a standard tyranny. Mess around a little with your technique. Try waiting a little longer on that gear (between gears), a little more or a little less rpm increase. Play with it and you will most likely figure it out.

    Drop a hole at the top of a get off ramp and float the trailer brake to a stop.
    Learn the finer points to momentum management and you'll one day
    see where you once were.

    Excellent advice right there. Sure does pi*s off the 4wheelers behind you, but who cares? They arent paying the bills....
