    try this on a LTL/partial going a 150 miles (250.00) what will these turds try next to rake us accross the coals.
    I propose we lobby congresss that all brokers have to have driven at least two years so they know what a screwing feels like or no authority for them.

    There's a TN based broker with 931 area code who posts brick loads all over the southeast coming into TN paying $300 on 265 miles, $200 on 185 miles, etc, etc.. People must haul them. For the life of me I don't understand how that ever works out. There are others who post brick loads who, even though they are still dirt cheap short hops,at least offer $2 a mile. That brokerage shamelessly posts loads like that,spams worse than TQL, year round.

    had an offer of $125 on 90 miles today.

    I giggled at it and told him I'd consider it.

    I bet it's a back office brokerage for a trucking company. They really have nothing to lose. If they can't find a sucker they just move it on one of their own trucks. They still make money, just not as much.


    Probably don;t have any trucks so they have to broker it.

    Nope there was one on ITS today picking up in Indiana (Think it was Warsaw) going 68 miles paying a whopping $28.00 and that's 28 not 280:biggrin_2559:oh and it was 45000lbs
