That’s simple, when you replace rakes shoes and drums travel for the road link between brake chambers and slack adjusters it is automatically less , so soon you touch brake pedal it is brake right ahead so you have to adjust linkage length and problem solve, remember INCH AND HALF mast be played no less no more or out of service, just try to release slack adjusters back to zero and it is more play and trailer wheels never skip because more length on linkage road

 

Length between brake chambers and slack adjusters need to be adjusted cause new drums and shoes are immediately make travel road short , remember INCH AND HALF length when is adjusted, if you have less like half inch soon you apply pedal it will lock the wheel right away and skip and jump cause truck roll and trailer brake that’s it ,, it is very simple to find out, release your slack adjusters back to zero and drive it is not going to skip until automatically adjusted,
