Thanks for the info! I noticed they already have CB's in the trucks. Do you have to run their CB or can you use your own?

Well, you could remove theirs, put yours in and run it but, make sure you swap it back to theirs before you get to one of their terminals...lol

As long and theirs work I would rather just follow the rules. Didn't know if you were allowed to run your own or not.

Sounds like that is what I need. What made you leave if you don't mind me asking?

I got hurt in May, durring Army drill and after a month went by, the FM called me and said they had to terminate my employment do to being off a month. Told me they would hire me back but, it took 3 mo's for me to get all the Dr's visits, physical therapy and sign off. Durring that time, the wife told me she would get her CDL and we can team. So, we went to USXpress to team,,,,Big Mistake!

Just curious was it a big mistake to go with US Express or to team with your wife? The way you left it it is open ended.. Just kidding about teaming with wife. I do thank you for your service and hope you are well now.

I will just say, it is tough on a marriage to be in the same small area for weeks at a time. That being said, USXpress is full of Idiot's and that goes for all departments but had a couple great FM's. Left them and went with a contractor that has trucks on with FedEx Ground.... Thought running hub to hub would be better...LOL NOT! Way more sitting than ever... Now sitting at home and weighing in on going back to Flatbed myself and wife be dispatcher.

I for one will tell you that I would not be able to team with my wife. She would want to stop every few miles to go to the rest area or go to Walmart I love my wife but not gonna team with her. She has a hard job of taking the rugrats to dance class gymnastics basketball and to beauty pageants. I am home everyday and I sometimes think about going otr would give me piece of mind. I wish you well on whatever you decide. That sounds like a plan about wife dispatching for you. It would be nice if she knows the good lanes and can find you loads so you wouldn't have to look for them.

Amen Popcorn... I am doing all I can to learn the right lanes, as much as I can without actually dooing the handson, or tireson...lol
I live in central TN and feel the states surrounding TN, plus MI, PA, MD and what not, should be a good area to run in, until I can find a triangle or rectangle to run in.
