What is business like at present in the Permian Basin oilfields?
Is everything still basically dead, layoffs left and right, or is it limping along?
I left that area in May 2020 and I'm wondering what it is like now.....?
Just Curious..... Permian Basin Question

From what I hear, upstream is slow but kinda picking up, midstream is steady to busy, depending on the company.

Still a shortage of Sand Haulers from what I’ve been seeing, or at least the expectations that more are needed.

Well, the general rule is if a company is hiring that often and that in need of drivers it's because drivers don't want to work there....CorsairFanboy, drvrtech77, austinmike and 2 others Thank this.

I know 6 O/O’s personally that left - speaking from experience- they raised rates to get drivers back out but to me East TX/LA is better as theres more civilization around. It’s your choice but at this point I don’t feel the need to compete with company drivers at any company. So good luck with your decision moving forward. Be Safe!Brettj3876 Thanks this.

1845 haha I made it all of about one week with that outfit. It's a utter #### show! From the top to the bottom seriously one of the most disorganized companies I've ever had the misfortune of winding up at.
austinmike, JoeyJunk, crossroads50 and 1 other person Thank this.
