Honestly. I think your gonna have to go in blind. I really don't think your gonna find anyone who has done a swap like that. That's kinda rare bird. Your going to have to figure it out as you go.
If it was me and I know you don't want to hear it, but I'd just put a good water jacketed 425 b model in that thing and roll. Don't even need to worry about an air to air. Your biggest issue is going to fit that cooler in the front and I'm willing to bet there's just not enough room. Probley why KW designed the k100e in the first place.

Well I have a little insight as to the fact that a 362 air to air late 80's - early 90's may fit but I will have to do some measuring...
-
Go for it. Do lots of research and expect many unforeseen "problems". There is a wire harness manufacturer in AZ (I think). I believe the name is Mauk something. Google it and you should find it. One item of importance to consider is how well a cabover size radiator is going to cool. You are limited in space there also in addition to adding the air to air. With enough money any thing is possible. Keep all of us posted. By the way I have seen v-8 Cats in KW cabovers.
CaboverKid Thanks this. -
bigguns and CaboverKid Thank this.

Figure out what all the connections go to from the firewall lug and wire accordingly. Maybe I'm missing something, but the wiring seems to be the easy part.
Have you checked Ebay for an adapter? There are adapters for everything these days. Mostly for gasser vehicles. You can drop any engine into any chassis any simply plug it in. -
Thats what Mawk Industries is all about...they specialize in harnesses for repowering old trucks with modern engines. Its all there...plug n play pretty well!
-
lol. Ya check E bay for an adapter. Because there's going to be such high demand for such a thing
firewall??? It's a cabover.
I can guarantee you , no ones ever done this kind of swap , he's going to have to just wing it.
And yes, the wiring will be the easy part. -
I have personally talked to 2 guys who have done similar swaps...lol...so your guarantee is busted! Ya never know what ya might find on Ebay...there is a listing for an ignition switch for a 67 Chev pickup...n an exhaust manifold for a 46 Ford COE...
There is another guy I have been talking to who has a 76 K100C w/ 1693 that hes swappin a C16 into next month, so its not as rare as ya might think...just not advertised alot. -
Okay then, Sounds like you got it all figured out. Good luck with it.
Oh and good luck on your e bay hunt for your k100c/1693 to electronic cat firewall adapter!! Lmao. !Hammer166 Thanks this. -
His 76 isn't completed yet either.
Only one K100C so far that I have seen a completed setup in, and it isn't a narrow grill either.
