It appears that Petro-Chemical Transport, a subsidiary of the Kenan Advantage Group, has taken over Go Petro Transport (Sunoco) as well as the fuel division of Mission Petroleum Carriers.
I can't find any information about this anywhere on the internet, so I will be making some phone calls tomorrow (Wednesday) to get official confirmation and more information.

They bought out Alpha Transport in SLC a few years ago and just about ran it into the ground. They are buying out alot of people. Thats the name of the game now apparently and unfortunately
Intothesunset Thanks this. -
Everybody on the bulk end is playing the consolidation game. No true winner in none of it if you ask me. I was waiting for enterprise to get back into the chemical game but I guess that isn’t happening
06driver Thanks this. -
That is one investment group that won't stop buying up companies. I know drivers at go pet and mission and will give them a call today.
scythe08 Thanks this. -

Enterprise is already hauling chemicals.

I just spoke to a Sunoco fuel driver on the CB a minute ago, and he said that Keenan has been hauling for 7-Eleven ever since 7-Eleven bought the Stripes stores from Sunoco. He also said that Kenan is not taking over Sunoco/Go Petro.
-
I was told it was suppose to be a big push back into the chemical market but I haven’t seen anything other than that jp8 and they been on a hiring freeze for owner operators for months
-
I spoke to a lady from Sunoco today who told me very definitively that they are not being taken over.
