Booked a load with me. It took one hour for the set up. Then I found out the load was given to someone else in the meantime.
I don't like when they set you up then give a load to someone else. I could have booked another load in the meantime.

So you're set up now, good luck on the next one.

Their practices are wrong.ProfessionalNoticer Thanks this. -

It's end of the day. So, practically I lost a day of work for tomorrow. Do you like forced days off?
I'm limited to my schedule, so I'm restricted to what I can book.
I have only Wednesday open this week. It's too late to find a load for tomorrow to be back home the same day.
Practices like that are bad. Since I could have booked another in the meantime when I have seen them available on load boards. But I was kept captive.Last edited: Feb 22, 2022

I get what you're saying but 'sometimes' I do enjoy a forced day off as I need it and I can blame it on someone else.
I'm not trying to diminish what you have going on right now and I hope the rest of your week makes up for it. -
I knew something went off since the broker stopped answering the phone and responding to the email.
Then when I called the main office I was informed by someone else actually that the load was covered already.
At the end of the day the broker confirmed what I already knew.
I mean---You don't do it to carriers. And if they do, they should let them know right away and not have a carrier wait for nothing.Last edited: Feb 22, 2022

I learned the Room and Board went up 20% for the new year where my son applied.
He's going to be a Freshman. Now, they are making up for residences halls being closed during the Pandemic by adding 20% more for room and board next school year.
Inflation is killing it for most part. People need to make up for the difference in costs somehow.Last edited: Feb 22, 2022

I have been through that with them also. It's frustrating and I certainly was not happy with them.
The majority of Brokers will hold a load for you while you get set up with their packet. There are some like these guys they absolutely will not. In the future make sure that you specifically ask the broker if they will hold the load.
The broker should have told you that. If they did not he really was in the wrong because they should have told you you have to fill it out and see if the load is still available.
It's up to you how you proceed but you are already set up with them and the next time you could just take the load. To me it's kind of silly to not work with them.
Like I said I have had that same issue and I even had it when my certificate came up for renewal.
The brokers you really want to avoid are the ones with crazy stuff on their rate con that are flat out trying to screw you.
They are plenty of them to avoid. -
This is your biggest problem screw it move on.So what your set up now if another load comes up you’ll get it while some other slob is trying to get set up
Dino soar Thanks this.
