Hi. I'm looking from anyone who has been through Knight Transportation's CDL Training? Or who are current drivers? I don't wanna hear from people who use to or want anyone's opinion who has never dealt with this company. I want drivers that have been there for years and ones that just started and such. I'm trying to get upgrade to a class A and cant afford to stop working or go pay it myself. Knight seems to be the best out of all. thank you to anyone who replies with any info.

Royburker Thanks this. -
Thank you. Do you know his user name?
-
I don't believe he is on this site. He has a Facebook page that he created. That is where you could contact him. It is called "Fired up truckers".

Ok thank you very much

Knight depends on where you will be training, do not use Fontana CA, I would not recomend Knight at all.
You say upgrade, to class a, elaborate what that means, also where you are location wise, will change reccomendations. Here in Socal there are lots better than Knight. -
What I mean on upgrade is, I have a class B CDL, and I'm trying to get upgraded to a class A.

I just graduated from knight training in Indianapolis Indiana. I only have positive things to say about it. Small classes, lots of seat time, extremely great trainers, great hotel room to yourself. Just be prepared to learn. Any questions feel free to ask.

The one thing that stuck out with knight was on there website it said they pay you for all training from the time you start to finish. Is that true?
-
Yes, as the website says you will be paid $400/week until you go solo. Once solo you drive 30,000 safe miles and you get a pay increase. Also of note is, if you are going into the school to learn, you must pay $100 for the physical and drug screens. However you get paid $150 for 2 and a half days of orientation.
