I'm not sure if this is what you are asking but I just priced up some new KW's with the EXT.cab (which is the piece that will bolt on where the aerocab sleeper comes off) and the 38" aerocab sleeper.
That EXT cab panel was #### near as much as the 38" sleeper. I can image that KW would probably want about 3000.00 or more for that EXT. over the counter and then of course you have to paint it and install it.
Of course if you have a buyer that will take your sleeper I would imagine that you could offset some of that. But I have been told that aerocab sleepers are about as popular as Mack sleepers.
In other words, there not,
Hope that helps? -
I know when I priced removing one it was going to be $4,000-$5,000. The panels from daycab conversion company to do the extended cab were over 2k I thought and they said to figure on 40-50hrs of labor start to finish. I did see one guy doing them by just cutting chunks out of the sleeper since they aren't worth much anyways.

My local KW dealer's bodyshop is always looking for good late model sleepers. Old stuff isn't worth much but they have a hard time finding newer replacements for wrecked trucks.
