Serenity now!!!
I'm going to recuse myself from this discussion because I just don't feel up to getting into the weeds with this one.MachoCyclone, Kyle G., Lepton1 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Just do your best if you get there you get there if you don't you don't, sounds more like a case that you've not scheduled the right driving time or the shipper never gave you enough time to make it.G13Tomcat Thanks this.

You can probably make with a hour plus to spare. Then if your out of hours after empty and Walmart won't let you park their you can just drive to place to park and put in remarks on logs no overnight parking allowed. Hopefully their is a place to park nearby.
You can also off duty once empty. Like you spending the night at Walmart. Then log Personal Conveyace to got get something to eat and bathroom, and you might as well spend the night, and pull the trailer with you. Then go back to Walmart after 10 hours still under Personal Conveyace and get back just as your 10 hour break is up. If you company allows Personal Conveyace.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
I wouldn't push it. You don't want to get to the WalMart D.C. and get hit by falling prices due to driver fatgue. Then again, i barely ran 623 miles in a day cab today, so don't let my laziness discourage you.
passingthru69, Heritage11, Gunner75 and 1 other person Thank this. -
You pull a daycab for WalMart or Swift dedicated DC's? Just wondering. I hear y'all do rather well.
I don't really understand the O/P's issues.....i'd've ran that to the nines and had time for a steak somewhere, IMHO. -
No I don't work for either. I ran 623 miles today in a 65 mph truck, 200 miles through a ton of towns and redlights, and still had 30 mins left on my clock.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
I do that (approx) everyday intrastate in a non gov'd Pete... but pulling tanks I govern myself. Almost had to pull a 16 hour exempt friday night, but worked around it. Nice to be home, for sure. I rarely run the highways, either. I'm often seen on the byways. Cute, tiny Ohio towns...they wave when I go thru, LoL~!!!
I have NO clue what the issue was, LoL~!
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Would Walmart even notice if you did a 10 in the bobtail parking?
